Senior Manager (Planning & Development) (Town Planning)
The Job
- 2-year Contract
- Initiate and conduct research and studies to identify housing development opportunities in Hong Kong.
- Undertake planning and development feasibility studies, including research, analysis and evaluation.
- Advise on planning and development strategies to support project formulation and implementation.
- Provide town planning, urban design, and related technical advice to in-house teams, ensuring compliance with statutory and planning requirements.
- Prepare planning briefs, planning applications, impact assessments and related submissions.
- Manage the master planning process for housing developments.
- Lead and coordinate consultant teams related on planning-related matters.
- Liaise with Government authorities and different stakeholders to facilitate the planning and development processes.
The Person
- Degree in Town Planning or equivalent.
- Professional Member of HKIP or equivalent.
- 12 years’ relevant experience with a minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience, of which 5 years at managerial/supervisory level.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and the ability to work independently, manage pressure and meet critical deadlines.
- Good stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to project delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office application, and relevant design or presentation software.
