Senior Manager Power Plant Operations

You will provide strategic and operational leadership for a gas-turbine power plant supporting data-center infrastructure. You will oversee 24/7 operations, maintenance, commissioning, construction, capacity expansion, budgets, fuel management, compliance, and staffing. You will ensure reliable power delivery, lead multidisciplinary personnel and contractors, and improve availability, safety, cost, emissions, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 power plant operations, maintenance, commissioning, construction, and capacity expansion
• Ensure reliable, high-quality, redundant electrical power delivery
• Lead operators, technicians, engineers, contractors, and support staff
• Oversee plant performance, testing, and electrical infrastructure integration
• Develop operations and maintenance strategies, outage plans, and turbine management
• Manage concurrent construction and equipment installation while maintaining plant operations
• Ensure environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Manage budgets, fuel, operations and maintenance, capital projects, and operating plans
• Improve plant availability, heat rate, emissions, cost, safety, and operational processes
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain talent

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of experience in power generation operations, plant management, or related industrial or aerospace operations
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing operators, technicians, and engineers
• Experience operating or managing gas-turbine power plants
• Ability to support operations and construction outside normal business hours
• Ability to work extended hours
• General physical fitness for industrial and outdoor plant environments
