Senior Manager Professional Services Technical Architect

You will lead and develop the AMER Technical Architecture practice across presales and delivery. You will manage Technical Architects, oversee staffing and delivery quality, partner on complex customer engagements, and turn field learnings into reusable architecture guidance, implementation standards, and service patterns.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the AMER Technical Architecture team.
• Oversee presales collaboration, engagement scoping, technical delivery, staffing, utilization, and forecast alignment.
• Coach architects on technical judgment, consultative communication, and customer outcomes.
• Partner with Engagement Managers on estimation, solution framing, statement-of-work assumptions, and technical risk.
• Participate in strategic customer conversations to clarify ambiguity and support successful delivery.
• Guide first-mover delivery of new capabilities and improve emerging offerings in customer environments.
• Convert engagement lessons into reusable templates, architecture guidance, migration patterns, and implementation standards.
• Represent the Technical Architecture practice in AMER Professional Services management discussions.

Requirements

• Experience managing senior technical professionals in services, consulting, or Professional Services.
• Experience coaching, performance managing, and developing technical professionals.
• Experience in platform engineering, site reliability engineering, infrastructure, or software development.
• Experience running consultative engagements tied to business goals and customer outcomes.
• Experience with technical presales, discovery, scoping, estimation, solution definition, and risk assessment.
• Experience building repeatable delivery methods, including playbooks, standards, service kits, architecture patterns, or implementation guidance.
• Experience facilitating executive-level customer conversations and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-powered developer workflows, security, DevSecOps, or enterprise platform adoption.
