SENIOR MANAGER - PURCHASE

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships and supplier networks.
• Handle procurement of construction materials, services, and project requirements.
• Evaluate vendors, negotiate rates, and ensure competitive pricing.
• Manage purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate with Project, Planning, QS, Billing, and Accounts teams for timely material procurement.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.
• Monitor purchase costs, budgets, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Identify new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and processes.
• Lead and mentor the purchase team.

Candidate Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in a contracting/construction firm is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good commercial understanding and decision-making ability.
• Experience in handling procurement for multiple projects will be preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills.
