Pay

HK$97,787 to HK$143,298 (HMPS Point 9 to 19) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Job

The incumbent will assist the Service Director (Quality and Safety) in leading the Quality and Safety services in the Hong Kong Island Cluster. Key responsibilities include\:

1.

Assist in the development and execution of department’s annual plan.

2.

Assist in formulating and implementing cluster wide policies/ guidelines on quality and safety healthcare practices.

3.

Lead the overall risk management strategies; monitor and review the outcome of risk reduction plans.

4.

Plan and coordinate incident management strategies in the cluster.

5.

Drive and coordinate quality and safety activities in the cluster.

6.

Promote patient safety culture in the cluster.

7.

Provide executive support to the Cluster Quality & Safety Committee and other risk related committees in the cluster.

8.

Assist in hospital accreditation.

9.

Any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements

1.

A university degree or equivalent.

2.

At least 7 years’ post-qualification managerial experience in management function / respective profession / function of the post, of which at least 3 years’ experience is in middle management / professional level (e.g. EO I or equivalent level).

3.

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
