Senior Manager Regulatory Compliance and DMLRO Lithuania
You will draft and maintain compliance policies under Lithuanian and EU law, conduct AML/CTF risk assessments and audits, review high-risk customer escalations, submit suspicious transaction and sanctions reports, handle regulatory communications, oversee KYC and transaction monitoring compliance, train employees, and support the HoC and MLRO. You will also make sanctions-related decisions and monitor implementation of international sanctions.
Responsibilities
- Draft compliance programs, policies, and procedures guided by Lithuanian and EU law
- Perform annual AML/CTF risk assessments
- Lead annual AML/CTF audits
- Review internal escalations, including high-risk customer cases
- Submit suspicious transaction reports when necessary
- Handle AML/CTF regulatory communications, notifications, and inquiries
- Submit Nium EU partner registrations
- Ensure KYC and transaction monitoring meet regulatory requirements
- Educate and train employees
- Submit necessary quarterly reports to the Bank of Lithuania
- Make decisions to freeze funds and economic resources subject to sanctions
- Submit sanctions-related reports to competent authorities and the Bank of Lithuania
- Conduct regular controls of international sanctions implementation
- Assist the HoC and MLRO as necessary
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a Deputy MLRO in the fintech sector
- Comprehensive understanding of Bank of Lithuania regulations
- Knowledge of the Lithuanian fintech regulatory landscape
