Job Description & Summary

About the role:

PwC’s Responsible AI practice is expanding to meet growing UK client demand. As a Senior Manager, Responsible AI Solution Architect, you will join a collaborative team spanning engineering, cyber, data, model risk and regulatory compliance. You will lead the design and delivery of secure, governed and observable generative and agentic AI solutions, translating Responsible AI principles into practical technical controls. The UK-based role combines office, home and client-site working, with travel depending on engagement needs. It suits an experienced architect who enjoys solving emerging AI challenges and shaping trusted solutions at scale.

What your days will look like:

You will provide hands-on technical leadership, helping clients build, validate and scale AI safely through production-ready architecture and assurance by design.

  • Architect end-to-end generative and agentic AI solutions with embedded security, governance, transparency and resilience controls.

  • Define testing, validation, monitoring and incident-response approaches, producing clear, audit-ready evidence.

  • Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams, owning architecture decisions, quality and outcomes on complex engagements.

  • Create reusable reference architectures, playbooks and accelerators, while supporting proposals, thought leadership and practitioner coaching.

This role is for you if:

  • You have designed enterprise-grade AI solutions as a solution or technical architect.

  • You understand generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, orchestration patterns and associated controls.

  • You have applied Responsible AI governance frameworks and understand the UK and EU regulatory landscape.

  • You can design AI testing across safety, robustness, privacy, explainability, monitoring and incident management.

  • You have architecture-level experience with cloud, identity, security, data, integration and monitoring services.

  • You have led complex workstreams, influenced senior stakeholders and supported proposals or major engagements.

What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.

We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
