What is the Opportunity?

As Senior Manager, FP&A – Everyday Rewards & Linked Loyalty, you will drive strategic financial insights that accelerate growth in one of RBC's most important portfolios. You will translate complex financial data into actionable intelligence that shapes business strategy and partnership performance. Working with the Cards and Loyalty team, you will parter in owning comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Everyday Rewards and Linked Loyalty.

As a trusted advisor to Everyday Rewards leadership, you will develop compelling business cases, profitability frameworks, and forward-looking insights that guide executive decisions. You will unlock operational efficiencies, optimize partnership economics, and identify profitable growth levers that accelerate business impact. This role operates at the core of One RBC—collaborating across product teams, business partners, and enterprise finance to deliver integrated financial solutions with Integrity and Collaboration.

What will you do?

Strategic Financial Partnership

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Everyday Rewards leadership, delivering financial insights that inform business strategy and partnership decisions
  • Partner with Reward and Linked Loyalty teams to develop insights, business cases, profitability analyses, and drive elevated segment performance
  • Proactively analyze Everyday Rewards and Linked Loyalty financial trends against key business drivers, member economics, and partnership metrics
  • Support quarterly governance packages and executive presentations for key retail, grocery, and gas partnership stakeholders

Financial Planning & Excellence

  • Own full P&L forecasting, planning, and analysis for Everyday Rewards and Linked Loyalty; maintain accountability for month-end, quarter-end, and rolling forecasts
  • Establish and oversee key performance monitoring frameworks to track progress against strategic milestones and program profitability targets
  • Collaborate across RBC on key partnerships and initiatives, ensuring all financial modeling and reporting work streams deliver against requirements
  • Continually evolve program-specific financial monitoring to reflect current business operations and provide deeper visibility into drivers

Cost Optimization & Transformation

  • Increase transparency in cost structure; identify and execute opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and drive cost savings
  • Support month-end close activities, NIE and rewards P&L analysis, and enterprise reporting requirements
  • Lead process improvements and automation to increase team capacity and enhance forecasting accuracy
  • Collaborate with Loyalty & Rewards finance colleagues to continuously improve forecasting methodologies and data standardization
  • Support the governance process in setting the Cost per Point including presenting to senior executives and obtaining their approval

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with your peers Cards and Loyalty as well as Personal Banking Finance peers on cross-portfolio initiatives to ensure consistency and identify synergies
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Decision Support to ensure business cases are positioned for executive approval and strategic alignment

What you need to succeed?

Must-Have

  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent with 5+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience
  • Exceptional financial modeling and business partnering capabilities
  • Knowledge of Cards and Loyalty programs; deep understanding of rewards economics and partnership profitability
  • Strong technical skills: advanced Excel, SQL, and data analytics tools
  • Intellectual curiosity with growth mindset; passionate about continuous improvement
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in matrix environments without direct authority
  • Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities with urgency
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Payments, Networks, or Credit Cards
  • Proficiency with PowerBI, Tableau, Thinkcell, EPM, or PeopleSoft
  • Financial services or banking background
  • Statistical and data visualization expertise
