Working hour: 5 days office hour
đź’Ľ Responsibilities
• Develop and oversee the hospital’s Fire Safety Management Plan
• Review building designs and systems for SCDF fire code compliance
• Liaise with SCDF, MOM, MOH, consultants and contractors on regulatory approvals
• Ensure workplace safety requirements are incorporated into hospital infrastructure and workflows
• Review safety provisions for high-risk areas such as CSSD, kitchens, loading docks and plantrooms
• Develop fire safety and workplace safety policies, training and drills
• Support emergency preparedness plans, command centres, evacuation routes and crisis-response systems
• Maintain compliance documentation for licensing, commissioning and operational readiness
đź“ť Requirements
• SCDF-registered Fire Safety Manager certification is mandatory
• MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer certification preferred
• Min. Degree in any discipline
• Min. 8 years of relevant experience, preferably managing healthcare facilities
• Strong knowledge of fire codes, WSH requirements and emergency preparedness
• Experience engaging regulatory authorities and managing compliance risks
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills
