The Senior Manager is accountable for the enterprise ServiceNow platform strategy, governance model, roadmap, standards, and value realization. As Senior Manager, Service Platforms, you will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive the development, optimization, and governance of ServiceNow and related platforms, ensuring alignment with service strategy, operational excellence, and enhanced customer outcomes. What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a strategic, future-focused roadmap for service platforms by aligning with business goals, leveraging emerging technologies, and partnering with stakeholders to prioritize and deliver impactful initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing service platform team by setting clear expectations, providing mentorship, and consistently driving accountability and growth.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of service platforms—ensuring quality, seamless integration, and strong performance—while collaborating across teams to optimize functionality and resolve issues.
  • Ensure reliable, efficient service platform operations by managing incidents, upgrades, and performance monitoring while enforcing best practices and collaborating with teams and vendors for timely issue resolution.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to assess platform performance, drive continuous improvement and cost optimization, and leverage industry best practices to enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Manage Application Management Services (AMS) partners, including AMS Partner, within a multi-vendor development environment, ensuring effective collaboration, delivery alignment, and performance outcomes

Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will Lead the Service Platforms team, including the Technical Lead, ServiceNow Platform and specialist roles (three direct reports) will report into the Director, Service Enablement. This team strives to cultivate a collaborative, forward-thinking culture that champions ownership of the ServiceNow platform, and operational excellence.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with Service Operations, Service Elevation, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, business service owners, vendors, and Technology leadership.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

  • Have 8+ years of relevant progressively responsible professional IT experience
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have 5+ years in the ServiceNow platform owner or in similar roles
  • Have a broad understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture & operations, modules, integrations
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and project and service management practices considered an asset.
