Senior Manager - Supplier Management

TheDriveGroup has partnered with one of the big four banks who are growing their commercial team within Group technology. They are looking for a Senior Manager who will be directly liaising with C-level stakeholder. This role will shape supplier strategy, drive accountability, and identify value, and renewal, and supplier decision.

The team partners with group technology leaders and business stakeholders. It brings together supplier portfolio strategy, performance governance, risk, and technology fluency into one integrated capability. To be successful you MUST HAVE:

• Experience in technology supplier management, strategic vendor management, supplier strategy, technology consulting, strategic account management or a related discipline.
• Experience working in banking, financial services or another complex regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology suppliers across software, cloud, infrastructure, managed services, cyber, data, AI and digital platforms.
• Demonstrated experience influencing senior executives, C-suite stakeholders and senior supplier representatives.
• Proven ability to identify and realise supplier optimisation, consolidation, value and performance improvement opportunities.
• Experience using data, market insights and judgement to inform recommendations and decision-making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex issues and produce executive-ready materials.

Desirable Experience

• Experience operating in large-scale enterprise technology environments undergoing significant transformation.
• Experience with AI, cloud, cyber, data, infrastructure or digital platform ecosystems.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide supplier optimisation, rationalisation or simplification initiatives.
• Exposure to supplier assurance, operational resilience, technology risk, audit or regulatory environments.
• Experience working across complex stakeholder groups, including Technology, Procurement, Risk, Finance and Architecture functions.
• Experience in supplier-side strategic, consulting or account management roles.
