Position Summary
The Sr. Manager of Sales will oversee all sales activities for full-time staff and yearly support sales staff to achieve department revenue and goals through the sale of season tickets, group tickets, and single ticket initiatives. The Sr. Manager of Ticket Sales is responsible for the recruitment and development of Account Executives while maintaining a close working relationship with the other leaders of Ticket Sales, Service & Operations. In addition to team leadership, the role requires strong collaboration with other departments, including Marketing and Sales Enablement, to align sales efforts with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a passion for sports, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team of Account Executives
Develop and execute sales campaigns to drive ticket and membership revenue
Monitor sales performance and provide coaching, feedback, and mentoring.
Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and outreach strategies
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and setting performance goals accordingly
Represent the club at events and maintain strong client relationships
Develop sales techniques and incentives to maximize productivity
Committed to the support of department goals and objectives, such as budgets and sales goals
Assist in determining and implementing enhancement programs for current customers to generate sales and retention as well as locate incremental revenue opportunities
Ensure proper maintenance of Season Ticket accounts and Group Leaders is performed and current quality standards are met

Involvement in game day activities, promotions, and non-gameday sales events
Facilitate special projects as assigned and work with technology partners for sales enablement

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of ticket sales experience
Minimum 1 year of leadership responsibilities
Must possess excellent communication skills with a focus on motivating and innovating
Strength in teamwork, professionalism and time management
Positive and mature attitude with strong leadership skills
Must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position operates in a professional office environment and outside in a stadium facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Local travel to events may be required. This position typically works approximately 40 hours per week.
Must be able to work in all Charlotte FC home matches
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to remain sitting for up to 8 hours at a desk and computer
Ability to remain standing/walking for up to 8 hours
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, and endure weather conditions, including rain, wind, high and low temperatures, etc.
Must be able to work in non-traditional settings, and work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays
