Senior Manager, Validation Test Architecture (SSD)
Main Responsibilities
Define and drive validation strategy, coverage models, and validation roadmaps across product and system programs.
Establish coverage frameworks, metrics, and success criteria to measure validation effectiveness and completeness.
Lead structured analysis to identify coverage gaps, technical risks, and validation blind spots during early program phases.
Develop end-to-end validation architectures spanning hardware, software, automation, and supporting tool ecosystems.
Evaluate, prototype, and recommend next-generation validation methodologies that improve scalability, efficiency, and coverage confidence.
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate new validation strategies, architectures, and technical approaches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align validation strategy, architecture, and execution readiness
Other Responsibilities
Drive standardization and continuous improvement of validation practices across programs.
Define ownership boundaries, governance models, and effective handoff mechanisms between strategy and execution teams.
Monitor adoption of validation frameworks and identify gaps between planned and executed validation approaches.
Provide recommendations based on validation outcomes, metrics, and program-level risk assessment.
AI Responsibilities
Evaluate and promote AI/ML-enabled techniques to improve coverage analysis, risk identification, validation efficiency, and engineering decision-making.
Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and insights within validation workflows while ensuring responsible use aligned with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications
B.Sc. or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in validation engineering, system engineering, test architecture, or related technical disciplines.
Demonstrated experience in system-level validation strategy, coverage planning, and validation architecture development for complex platforms or products.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of system-level behavior and interactions across hardware, software, and integrated platforms.
Experience defining validation strategies, coverage models, test methodologies, and validation frameworks.
Ability to analyze complex system behaviors, identify coverage gaps, and assess technical risks.
Knowledge of validation automation frameworks, test infrastructure, and supporting engineering toolchains.
Experience applying AI/ML-enabled approaches to improve engineering analysis, efficiency, or decision-making.
Soft Skills

Strong communication skills across technical, program, and leadership audiences.

Project, program management, systems architecture, AI/ML, or quality improvement certifications.
