Senior Manager (Venture and Corporate Development)

The Senior Manager (Venture and Corporate Development) will support corporate & business development activities within Delightex, focusing on new business opportunities and cross-border collaboration with affiliated units under the larger Group, especially in Japan and Europe.

The role will serve as a key liaison between Delightex, and its overseas affiliated units under the Group, developing & executing collaborative projects, stakeholder engagement, market and technology analysis, and supporting new business creation initiatives. The role is expected to primarily support existing Delightex activities, and bridge relevant capabilities with Japan HQ initiatives..

Key Responsibilities

· Drive collaboration initiatives between Delightex and other overseas affiliated units under the Group.

· Coordinate with Japan Headquarters and Japan-based stakeholders on project updates, reporting, discussions and alignment.

· Support collaboration of Delightex business development & science teams, with Japan Headquarters science research and/or other related project teams.

· Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, particularly in Asia Pacific, related to emerging naturally derived ingredients in the mood wellness space and adjacent business areas.

· Conduct market, technology, regulatory and competitive landscape analyses to support business opportunity assessment.

· Support internal and external partnership management, including communication with potential partners, start-ups and relevant external stakeholders.

· Support development and execution of new business projects, including project planning, stakeholder coordination and progress management.

· Prepare reports, presentations and business updates for Japan Headquarters and relevant management stakeholders.

· Strengthen collaboration and relationship building between Delightex and Japan Headquarters, including support for cross-functional project meetings and knowledge sharing.

· Contribute, where appropriate, to Japan Headquarters research activities by leveraging market insights, external networks and business development experience gained through Delightex activities.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

· Experience in business development, strategy, innovation, corporate venture activities or new business creation.

· Experience managing cross-border projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

· Experience collaborating with R&D, science, technology or technical teams in business development contexts.

· Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

· Experience conducting market research, opportunity assessment, competitive analysis and/or business feasibility evaluation.

Language Requirements

Business-level proficiency in Japanese is required to support regular communication, meetings, reporting, coordination and alignment with Japan Headquarters and other Japan-based stakeholders.

Business-level proficiency in English is required for daily operations within Delightex and communication with international stakeholders.
