Senior Manager - Warehouse Design

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Infrastructure Design:

- Lead the design of warehouse layouts, including racking, automation systems, robotics, and IoT-enabled devices.

- Develop blueprints for dark stores and micro-fulfilment centers optimized for speed, accuracy, and throughput.

- Integrate material handling equipment (conveyors, AGVs, sortation systems) into infrastructure planning.

- Own long-term infra planning and project execution for the quick commerce supply chain.

- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards in all infrastructure designs.

Supply Chain Network Design:

- Architect end-to-end supply chain networks that support rapid order fulfilment and last-mile delivery.

- Design hub-and-spoke models for dark stores, warehouses, and delivery hubs to maximize efficiency.

- Optimize inventory placement strategies across the network to balance speed and cost.

- Collaborate with logistics partners to enhance transportation planning and route optimization.

- Build resiliency frameworks for supply chain disruptions, including redundancy and contingency planning.

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Partner with operations, product, and technology teams to align infrastructure and network design with business goals.

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and supply chain specialists, fostering innovation and excellence.

- Drive cross-functional initiatives to continuously improve fulfilment speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
