Senior Manual QA Engineer
Ciklum is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a Senior Manual QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer / Test Analyst to work closely with the AQA engineer and development team on a complex, data-heavy web application for strategic roadmapping, portfolio planning and performance metrics. The focus is on ensuring data accuracy, business logic, API behaviour and visualisations, not only testing the UI.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression and exploratory tests
- Strong focus on API testing, using tools such as Postman or similar
- Validate data processing, data consistency and data integrity across different parts of the application
- Test complex business rules, calculations, relationships and dependencies
- Validate roadmaps, timelines, charts, dashboards and other data visualisations
- Verify that front-end visualisations correctly represent the underlying data
- Work closely with AQA to identify what should be automated and what requires manual validation
- Analyse defects, provide clear reproduction steps and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- Support test planning and ensure appropriate coverage for new functionality
- Perform end-to-end and regression testing across the application
Requirements:
- Strong experience testing complex B2B / enterprise web applications
- Good understanding of APIs, data structures and databases
- Comfortable working with large and complex datasets
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Able to challenge requirements and identify edge cases and inconsistencies
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving environment with evolving requirements
- Good collaboration with Product, Design, Development and AQA
