As a Senior Manual QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of automotive systems across multiple markets. This position combines hands-on software testing with real-world validation activities, including vehicle-based testing and field verification. You will work closely with international teams in a dynamic environment where quality and customer experience are at the core of everything we do.

This role is based in Kraków and requires regular office presence to access testing vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual verification and validation of automotive software solutions.

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test suites.

  • Conduct testing on test rigs, prototype systems, and real vehicles.

  • Perform static and dynamic test drives as a driver or test engineer.

  • Validate system behavior in real-world environments and across different markets.

  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to support issue resolution.

  • Collect logs, traces, and testing evidence to support defect analysis.

  • Ensure full traceability of testing activities throughout the software lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, Test Leads, and other stakeholders to achieve project quality goals.

  • Participate in business trips and field testing activities when required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manual software testing.

  • 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry.

  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test design, execution, and defect management.

  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.

  • Experience with Jira, Xray, or similar test management tools.

  • Advanced Linux CLI knowledge.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Upper-Intermediate English level (B2+) or higher.

  • Valid Category B driving license.

  • Extensive driving experience and confidence in real-world driving scenarios.

  • Availability to work regularly from the Kraków office.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of ADASIS v2, ASPICE, or ISO 21434.

  • Experience with automotive field testing and validation across different markets.

  • Understanding of navigation systems, location-based services, geospatial data, and routing algorithms.

  • Experience with connected vehicle or embedded software solutions.
