Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manual Tester with 6–8 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in database testing, API testing, API integration testing, and defect investigation.
The role involves working closely with different product, development and business teams to understand requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently as an Individual Contributor, owning testing activities end-to-end
- Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT/end-to-end testing.
- Conduct database testing and write SQL queries for data validation.
- Perform API and integration testing using Postman.
- Track defects and participate in defect triage and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and Business teams.
- Mentor junior testers and review test cases.
Required Skills:
- 6–8 years of manual testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, API testing, Postman, Jira/Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
