Senior Manual Tester
Summary
The Senior Manual Tester will join a banking transformation project to perform functional, integration, and regression testing on a corporate digital banking platform. The role involves API testing, SQL data verification, and collaborating within an Agile team to modernize banking components.
B2B, 6 months + possible extensions
Hybrid model (Warsaw, 1 day per week from the office, the rest remotely)

We are looking for two experienced Manual Testers to join teams working on the development and modernization of a corporate digital banking platform.
Both positions are part of the same broader transformation programme and have a very similar technology and testing scope. Depending on your previous experience, you may focus more on platform security, login and authorization functionality or on customer self-service, user management, permissions and approval workflows.
What you will work on
The teams are developing and maintaining digital banking capabilities used by corporate customers, including areas such as:
User login and authentication.
Authorization and security-related functionality.
User and permission management.
Customer self-service.
Approval workflows and authorization schemes.
Customer communication.
Digital banking platform functionality.
Integration between frontend, backend and external systems.
Modernization of existing components towards a new architecture.
Your responsibilities
Preparing and maintaining test scenarios and test cases.
Executing functional, integration, regression and system testing.
Performing REST API testing.
Verifying application data using SQL queries.
Analysing business and technical requirements from a testing perspective.
Preparing test data and validating end-to-end business flows.
Reporting, analysing and retesting defects.
Supporting UAT where required.
Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers and business stakeholders.
Participating in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile/Scrum environment.
What we are looking for
At least 4–5 years of commercial manual testing experience.
Strong experience designing test cases and test scenarios.
Hands-on REST API testing experience.
Good practical knowledge of SQL.
Experience with integration and regression testing.
Experience testing complex, integrated IT systems.
Ability to analyse both business and technical requirements.
Agile/Scrum experience.
Strong analytical skills, independence and attention to detail.
Experience with Jira, Xray or Zephyr will be valuable.
