Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead advanced process developments, optimize complex manufacturing workflows, and mentor junior engineers. This role will drive modern manufacturing solutions, manage CAPEX initiatives, and uphold technical standards across critical production lines.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Manufacturing: Evaluate existing manufacturing systems to develop and implement advanced manufacturing methodologies and technologies.
Process Engineering: Create new Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC programs, and Tooling/Gauge layouts using Siemens NX.
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, advice, and coaching to junior engineers and shop-floor technicians.
Operational Excellence: Lead productivity, Lean Manufacturing, and cost-reduction initiatives. Conduct feasibility studies for capacity expansions and plant layouts.
Capital & Quality Planning: Formulate business justifications for Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) investments and lead root-cause investigations for complex technical issues.
EHS & Compliance: Champion continuous improvement (CORE), Quality Management, and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) standards across operations.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Mechanical, Precision, Manufacturing, Material Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience in precision manufacturing environments.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise with Advanced Manufacturing technologies and automation.
Highly proficient in CAD/CAM software (Siemens NX / Unigraphics).
Strong expertise in precision machining (5-Axis CNC, Lathe, Milling) and complex drawing interpretation with GD&T.
Demonstrated track record with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma implementations.
Strong analytical, cross-functional leadership, and communication skills.
