Senior Marketing Manager
Description
Role & responsibilities:
- Marketing-generated leads: own the volume and quality of marketing-generated leads: generate them, qualify them against agreed criteria, and hand them to sales ready to act on.
- Buyer signals: build and run an early-warning view of buyer intent (intent data, job postings, hiring patterns, social activity, account engagement and partner signals) and act on it before competitors do.
- Sales motion alignment: design campaigns around how our sellers, inside sales team and external lead generation partners actually sell. Every campaign maps to a sales motion and a follow-up owner.
- Account-based demand: run targeted programs for named accounts across paid social, email, content and events, so prospects already know us before the first conversation.
- Channel management: plan and manage paid media, website conversion, review platforms (Clutch, G2) and partner co-marketing. Stop channels that do not produce.
- Agency management: direct external agencies (lead generation, website, content), set their targets and hold them to results.
- Discipline: set and enforce the operating rhythm for the marketing team: deadlines kept, campaigns launched on time, follow-through without being chased.
- Results reporting: own the numbers: pipeline sourced by channel, cost per qualified lead, conversion by stage and return on spend. Report ahead of the curve, raising problems before anyone asks.
- Budget: build and manage the marketing budget, and move spend toward what converts.
Preferred candidate profile:
- 10+ years in B2B marketing, at least 5 focused on demand generation for technology or IT services.
- Hands-on with intent data, marketing automation, CRM integration (Zoho or similar) and paid digital channels.
- A track record of tying marketing activity to sourced pipeline and revenue, with numbers.
- Experience working directly with sales teams and external agencies.
