Description
We’re looking for a high-performing Marketing Senior Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strategic, solutions-focused mindset. This role is a critical part of the Global Marketing team and is ideal for candidates that are highly organized, thrive in dynamic environments, move seamlessly between strategy and execution, and are energized by wearing multiple hats. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership to shape and execute marketing strategies that elevate Teneo in the market, drive client engagement, and position our firm as the partner of choice for CEOs and senior decision-makers.
This role will support the marketing strategy and activation for one of Teneo’s key business segments, the Strategy & Communications (S&C) business. Teneo S&C advises CEOs and senior leaders on their most complex business and reputational challenges. Through integrated offerings spanning investor relations, corporate & financial communications, transactions & special situations, government & public affairs, crisis & litigation, governance & sustainability, digital, research, and creative services, we partner with some of the world’s largest companies to advance stakeholder strategies, reputation, influence, and enterprise value.
As part of the Global Marketing team, you will play a key role in elevating and promoting Teneo’s S&C business, partnering closely with S&C leadership to drive integrated marketing initiatives across communications, events, content, and business development. This position will help strengthen presence in key markets; showcase the breadth of our senior subject matter expertise across core S&C services and sectors; develop targeted approaches for senior leaders at marquee industry convenings; manage curated client experiences; and ensure S&C is promoted consistently channels and engagements.
The ideal candidate has experience in global advisory services, corporate communications, public affairs, financial communications, and/or legal services. They will be a strong writer, collaborator, and project manager comfortable supporting multiple senior stakeholders and priorities simultaneously. This individual will also have experience inside global organizations and is comfortable partnering with other regions and business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and manage best-in-class integrated marketing programs that showcase Teneo’s positioning, capabilities, thought leadership, client successes, and industry expertise.
- Serve as both a strategic and execution partner to S&C senior leaders on integrated marketing and communications initiatives that support its business growth, client engagement, and market positioning.
- Support owned content strategy, creation, and distribution across multiple channels, including website content, thought leadership, social media, email, video, and internal communications.
- Support the planning and execution of client events, industry conferences, executive roundtables, webinars, sponsorships, and networking opportunities that enhance visibility and strengthen C-Suite relationships.
- Manage content and experience on teneo.com, ensuring alignment with broader brand strategy and ensuring content remains current, impactful, and aligned with business priorities.
- Act as a project manager across marketing initiatives, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, vendors, budgets, and deliverables.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, marketing engagement metrics, and business development activity to inform future strategies.
- Support integration and marketing efforts related to acquisitions, new hires, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on marketing technology platforms, including CRM systems, email marketing platforms, content management systems, and marketing analytics tools.
- Partner with internal teams, including Talent Acquisition, People Team, IT, Finance, and Operations, to support priority business initiatives.
- Mentor and support the development of junior team members
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, business development, or related fields, ideally within a global advisory firm focused on strategic communications.
- Proven experience executing events, campaigns, thought leadership programs, and content strategies for C-Suite leaders.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling content.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Experience with CRM, CMS, email marketing, and marketing analytics platforms; HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as AI tools to responsibly enhance productivity.
- Strong business judgment, attention to detail, executive presence, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Location: New York City, minimum 3-days in office requirement. Evening and weekend work, including travel, may periodically be required.

Base Salary Range
$165,000 - $185,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed).
Total Compensation Package
Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and perks.
Flexible Work Policy:
Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible and if you are assigned to the New York office, the company's expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three days a week.
