Senior Marketing Operations Specialist

This role sits at the intersection of marketing analytics, revenue systems, and go-to-market operations.
You’ll own reporting that helps leadership understand funnel performance, lifecycle conversion, and campaign effectiveness.
You’ll also manage lead scoring, routing, and Marketing-to-Sales handoff processes across core GTM systems.

You’ll collaborate with BI, Data, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders while working directly with senior leadership.

Accountabilities
- Build and maintain operational reporting covering funnel performance, lifecycle-stage conversion, routing efficiency, campaign engagement, and other core marketing metrics.
- Partner with BI and Data teams to develop dashboards and improve operational analytics across the go-to-market organization.
- Validate reporting outputs and investigate discrepancies across Salesforce, Marketo, and connected revenue systems.
- Analyze marketing data to identify trends, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities, translating findings into clear recommendations for leadership.
- Manage lead and contact scoring models based on buying intent, engagement signals, and funnel stage.
- Own lead routing and lead/account matching logic using RingLead, ensuring records are accurately directed to the appropriate sales teams.
- Continuously improve speed-to-lead processes, inbound qualification frameworks, and Marketing-to-Sales handoffs.
- Perform ongoing QA across Marketo smartlists, Salesforce routing reports, and RingLead workflows to identify misrouted, duplicated, or unsynced records.
- Troubleshoot lead routing and scoring issues, escalating systemic problems and recommending scalable solutions.
- Manage sales alerts, follow-up workflows, and other processes that support effective handoffs between Marketing and Sales.
- Use AI tools to cross-reference and reconcile records across Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, and other systems, improving the speed and accuracy of QA activities.
- Identify recurring reporting and QA processes that can be automated with AI or other technologies and help implement more efficient workflows.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing analytics, or a related data or systems role, ideally within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Hands-on experience with marketing analytics, operational reporting, and core marketing performance metrics.
- Strong understanding of marketing KPIs and the underlying factors that influence funnel and campaign performance.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo, or comparable CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience with, or strong aptitude for learning, lead routing, lead scoring, and sales handoff logic.
- Comfort working with data at the individual-record level, including profiling, cleaning, reconciling, and validating records across multiple systems.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a rigorous quality-assurance mindset.
- Demonstrated interest in or experience using AI tools to support analysis, reporting, reconciliation, or QA workflows.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Experience with RingLead or a similar lead routing and matching platform is a plus.
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or comparable platforms is preferred.
- Basic SQL proficiency and the ability to identify and troubleshoot SQL-related issues in collaboration with data analytics teams is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of complex marketing operations processes.
- Competitive compensation: $90,000–$130,000 base salary, with offers determined by experience, relevant skills, knowledge, and other job-related factors.
