The Role

JoVE is seeking an analytical Senior Marketing Operations Specialist to support the execution, optimization, and measurement of our global marketing initiatives. This role combines email marketing, marketing automation, CRM/database management, and marketing analytics to ensure our campaigns are delivered efficiently, reach the right audiences, and generate measurable business results.

The ideal candidate is experienced with HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics, enjoys working with data, and is passionate about improving marketing performance through automation and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, deploy, and optimize email campaigns and automated nurture workflows in HubSpot.
  • Build, review, and validate segmentation lists in HubSpot to ensure campaigns reach the correct target audiences.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) to ensure campaigns are error-free and delivered successfully.
  • Monitor email deliverability and campaign performance, recommending optimizations to improve engagement and conversions.
  • Support A/B testing and continuous campaign optimization.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and RevOps to improve lead management and data integrity.
  • Track marketing KPIs, campaign performance, lead generation, funnel conversion, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
  • Analyze marketing performance and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns and support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Email Marketing, or Marketing Analytics.
  • Demonstrated success implementing marketing campaigns and automation workflows in HubSpot that delivered measurable improvements in efficiency or campaign performance.
  • Proficiency in building and validating segmentation lists in HubSpot.
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reporting that support business decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing marketing databases, segmentation, and data hygiene.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-driven, results oriented and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
