Discussion

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to manage and execute The Clear Blue Company’s (CBC) day-to-day marketing initiatives. We are looking for an experienced, technically sound individual with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, collaborate across teams, and execute at a high level – someone who shares our values, our passion for serving our residents, and our commitment to the mission of solving the affordable housing crisis.

Reporting to the VP, Marketing, this person will serve as the primary day-to-day marketing point of contact supporting CBC’s Development, Asset Management, Capital, and Construction teams. This role is responsible for executing CBC’s established marketing and brand strategy across corporate communications, digital and content, PR, events, property marketing, and other company-wide marketing initiatives. The Senior Marketing Manager will also manage CBC’s Resident First Events Analyst and external marketing vendors and partners.

Mission

Lead the execution of CBC’s marketing strategy by delivering consistent, high-quality marketing initiatives that strengthen the company’s brand, support business growth, elevate Resident First, and position CBC as the leader in affordable housing.

What You’ll Do

1. Manage and execute CBC’s corporate marketing strategy, priorities, budgets, and goals

· Translate established company and marketing priorities into actionable plans, campaigns, timelines, and deliverables

· Manage the company-wide marketing calendar and coordinate priorities across teams

· Maintain consistency with CBC’s established brand messaging, standards, and visual identity

· Manage external vendors and partners providing marketing and creative support to CBC

· Manage marketing budgets, invoicing, timelines, and evaluation of ongoing vendor relationships

2. Manage CBC’s PR, communications, content, and digital marketing efforts

· Manage the day-to-day relationship with CBC’s PR agency and execution of national and local press strategies

· Coordinate leadership thought leadership, media opportunities, awards, speaking engagements, and other external visibility efforts

· Manage CBC’s editorial and content calendar, including corporate social media strategy and execution

· Draft and coordinate company announcements, press releases, talking points, award submissions, executive communications, and other external-facing materials

· Manage CBC’s website and oversee ongoing digital content and creative needs

3. Develop and maintain CBC’s corporate, property, and business-line marketing assets

· Manage corporate and deal-level collateral supporting acquisitions, development, capital relationships, investor communications, and business development

· Partner with Development and Asset Management on property branding, naming, signage, collateral, photography, digital assets, lease-up materials, and other property marketing needs

· Support CB Construction and other CBC-affiliated businesses with collateral, digital content, project storytelling, and marketing needs

· Coordinate designers, photographers, videographers, printers, and other creative partners to execute marketing deliverables

· Maintain organized and current brand assets, templates, photography, presentations, and marketing collateral

4. Manage CBC’s corporate events, conferences, sponsorships, and external engagements

· Coordinate conferences, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and other industry opportunities

· Manage associated deadlines, registrations, sponsorship deliverables, collateral, signage, presentations, and event materials

· Coordinate talking points, presentations, and other preparation required for leadership participation

· Partner with CBC’s PR agency and internal leadership on execution of identified speaking and external engagement opportunities

5. Manage the Resident First Events Analyst and oversee marketing support for Resident First initiatives

· Manage the Resident First Events Analyst, including priorities, workload, goals, development, and accountability

· Ensure Resident First events are planned and executed consistently across participating properties

· Oversee messaging, creative, invitations, signage, photography, and communications supporting Resident First events

· Ensure Resident First activities, outcomes, and stories are captured for use across CBC communications and marketing channels

6. Serve as the day-to-day marketing partner to teams across CBC

· Partner with team leads to understand marketing needs and translate requests into clear scopes, timelines, and deliverables

· Manage multiple concurrent marketing projects from request through completion

· Proactively identify needs, anticipate next steps, and move projects forward with limited day-to-day oversight

· Establish and maintain processes that create consistency, efficiency, and accountability across the marketing function

What Success Looks Like

· CBC’s brand is consistently represented across every touchpoint, ensuring high-quality, on-brand communications, marketing assets, and experiences.

· Marketing initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with business priorities across Development, Capital, Asset Management, Construction, and Resident First.

· Internal teams view Marketing as a proactive, responsive partner that helps move projects forward rather than simply fulfilling requests.

· CBC’s visibility continues to grow through thought leadership, media coverage, conferences, awards, digital content, and public relations.

· Marketing systems, vendors, budgets, and workflows operate efficiently, allowing projects to move from concept to completion with minimal friction.

· The Resident First Events Analyst is well-supported, growing professionally, and consistently delivering high-quality resident programming.

· Leadership has confidence that marketing projects are organized, prioritized, and executed with excellence.
