Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Semiconductor Equipment MNC - CWH

• Design and develop equipment and thermal head solutions, including prototype build, functional testing, and design refinement.
• Prepare cost estimates for completed product designs, covering labor, materials, delivery, and overhead; compile reports for management review.
• Define and verify system and product specifications. Record and analyze test results, then refine designs to meet safety, material, performance, and efficiency requirements.
• Apply CAD tools and participate in the DFMEA process. Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to assess design feasibility.
• Collaborate with control engineers to study and optimize equipment operating sequences.
• Support design for manufacturing activities and conduct simulations to verify design margins.
• Participate in equipment assembly, installation, operation, and troubleshooting throughout project execution.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including bills of materials, operating manuals, and training materials.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in precision equipment design and automation; semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• At least 3 years of Thermal Head design experience, preferably for semiconductor FT, SLT, or Burn-in testing applications. Candidates with relevant design experience may also be considered.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software; SolidWorks experience is preferred.
