Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in mechanical system design, project management, and construction support, playing a crucial role in delivering innovative and sustainable building solutions. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and oversee mechanical systems for construction projects ensuring compliance with local codes and standards. - Lead mechanical engineering activities including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical equipment selection. - Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical solutions seamlessly. - Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering professional growth. - Conduct site visits to monitor installation, perform inspections, and resolve mechanical design issues. - Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project approval and execution. - Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations throughout project lifecycle. - Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to secure materials and equipment timely and cost-effectively.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 7 years experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE or GCC region. - Strong knowledge of mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering tools. - Proven track record in managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in the UAE. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Professional Engineering license or certification is an advantage.
