What You Will Do
- Design and develop mechanical systems for testing applications, ensuring robust performance under various conditions.
- Utilize Python for data analysis and automation of testing processes.
- Implement and manage data acquisition systems, integrating sensors and instrumentation for precise measurements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test protocols and improve product reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of mechanical components, documenting results and providing actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, enhancing system performance and efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 4–15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on testing and validation.
- Proficiency in Python, LabVIEW, and MATLAB for data analysis and system control.
- Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems and various sensors, including load cells and strain gauges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful project execution.
Preferred
- Experience in the logistics, hardware, or defense industries.
- Familiarity with advanced materials and manufacturing processes.
- Previous involvement in cross-disciplinary engineering projects.
Compensation and Benefits
