Senior Meeting Planning and Hospitality Specialist
You will coordinate and manage mid-to-large-scale meetings, events, and conferences; create budgets; select venues and hotel rooms; coordinate transportation and vendors; troubleshoot event issues; analyze meeting and financial data; prepare post-meeting financials; support internal events; and train and mentor less experienced staff.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage sourcing and planning of firm meetings events and conferences
- Create and manage event budgets
- Coordinate venue selection hotel room blocks event setup and food and beverage selections
- Collaborate with meeting planning staff and internal planning partners
- Troubleshoot issues during events and conferences
- Communicate with Information Technology about event technology
- Analyze meeting trend and financial data
- Track spending against event budgets
- Build relationships with vendors
- Prepare and present post-meeting financials
- Review meeting and event bills for payment
- Provide training and support to less experienced employees
- Guide and mentor Meeting Planning and Hospitality staff
- Support internal meetings and events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of hospitality and/or meeting planning experience
- Independent work and judgment

- Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- CVENT or meeting planning tool knowledge
