Senior Member of Technical Staff

About the Role

Join a technical team at a HealthTech company to design, build, and ship production software. Your work will help create reliable, scalable systems that support the company's technology needs.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Build and improve production systems with a focus on availability, scalability, and performance.
• Use cloud platforms and containerization technologies to develop and operate software.
• Contribute to technical direction and help teams deliver robust systems.
• Lead or mentor engineers, including supporting the development of junior team members.

What We're Looking For

• At least 10 years of experience building and shipping production software systems.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems or microservices.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams or junior engineers.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C++.
• Experience building for high availability, scalability, or performance, with open source contributions or public code repository maintenance a plus.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code or configuration management tools.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $225,000 to $300,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.
