Senior Mendix Developer

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Mendix applications, implementing prioritized backlog items and resolving production incidents.
Host rotational Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint planning sessions for 3-week sprint cycles.
Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to clarify functional requirements, coordinate UAT issue resolution, and align on production incident fixes.
Coordinate with the Mendix Center of Excellence (CoE), external service providers, and interfacing system teams.
Maintain dynamic document and email templates built with the Jinja template engine where needed.
Skills:
8+ years of IT development experience, with proven expertise as a Senior Mendix Developer and relevant Mendix certification.
Deep hands-on knowledge of Mendix low-code development, domain models, microflows/nanoflows, custom widgets, and Java actions.
Strong technical background in Java programming, Jinja template engine, REST/SOAP web services, and enterprise system integration.
Advanced proficiency in Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, acceptance testing (UAT), and familiarity with the HERMES project management framework.
Willingness and capability to step into a Scrum Lead role on a rotational basis (hosting dailies, retrospectives, and backlog refinement).
