Senior MES Consultant

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of MES solutions supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Provide expert support to users by troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze operational data, and ensure system reliability and accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve system malfunctions and configuration-related issues.
  • Participate in MES deployment projects, including solution design, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Deliver user training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards to support production and business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MES with enterprise systems such as SAP, SCADA, and other manufacturing platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean Manufacturing principles and digital manufacturing best practices.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar MES-related role.
  • Proven hands-on experience with MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial IT systems.
  • Experience working with SCADA, SPC, SAP, and MES environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies in the context of manufacturing systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
