Senior Microsoft Security Consultant

The Collective Consulting is seeking a Senior Microsoft Security Consultant to join our team of experts dedicated to providing unparalleled cybersecurity solutions. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Active Directory, and Entra ID to help our clients achieve robust security postures. Your consultancy and engineering skills will be critical in designing, implementing, and optimizing security measures that align with our mission to empower confidence, resilience, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize security measures using Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Active Directory, Microsoft Purview, and Entra ID
• Provide expert consultancy to clients on cybersecurity strategies and best practices
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, and recommend solutions
• Develop and execute customized security plans for clients
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless integration of security solutions
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies
• Provide training and support to clients on Microsoft security products
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of The Collective Consulting's cybersecurity services

Requirements

• Proven expertise in any of the following products: Microsoft Defender family of products, Microsoft Sentinel, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview,
• Strong consultancy skills
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python is considered a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement cybersecurity solutions
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams
• Experience in conducting security assessments and audits
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements including NIS2 and ISO27001
