Senior Middleware Cloud Architect

We are looking to hire a Senior Middleware Cloud Architect in Singapore to support our client which is a leading global investment bank.

• Architect, standardise and govern enterprise application server platforms using MW products IBM WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Liberty, WebSphere MQ, IBM HTTP Server (IHS), WebLogic, JBoss , Apache and Tomcat.

• Define patching and fix-pack standards that minimise downtime and keep platforms current and secure.

• Middleware installation and configuration standards for core critical banking application server environments.

• Provide L3 escalation support for complex integration, JVM performance and Middleware infrastructure issues.

• Lead the design and evolution of a middleware self-service portal giving application teams secure, UI/API-based access to common tasks.

• Own SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management (Venafi, BladeLogic), including coordination with third-party certificate authorities to prevent service impact.

• Lead vulnerability assessment and remediation of web and application servers in coordination with information security teams.

• Support infrastructure operations (patching, certificates, DR) for payment and messaging systems

• Define the observability and monitoring strategy using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace for proactive detection of platform and application issues.

• Scripting skills (Shell) and working knowledge of networking, load balancers and firewalls.

• Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace.

• Solid understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI and certificate lifecycle tooling.

• Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible automation.
