Summary
Build and own Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM; write tests, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll take ownership of the full application lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, and continuous evolution of modern mobile solutions.
Build Outstanding Mobile Experiences
- Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, delivering responsive, intuitive, and visually engaging user experiences.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and reusable components that support long-term product evolution.
- Create smooth animations, fluid interactions, and modern UI experiences following Android best practices and Material Design principles.
️ Design Modern Mobile Architectures
- Design and implement robust application architectures using patterns such as MVVM, ensuring clean separation of concerns and long-term maintainability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and engineering best practices.
- Promote clean code, modularization, and reusable software components.
🚀 Deliver High-Quality Software
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following modern software engineering standards.
- Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure application reliability and maintain high code quality.
- Apply engineering practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Continuously optimize application performance, responsiveness, and resource usage.
🤝 Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, QA Engineers, and clients to transform business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Support clients by validating technical requirements and proposing scalable implementation strategies.
Own the Product
- Take ownership of features throughout their entire lifecycle—from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to ensure application stability.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve user experience, code quality, and development processes.
🛠️ What We're Looking For
Required Experience
✔️ Strong professional experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.
✔️ Experience building modern declarative user interfaces with Jetpack Compose.
✔️ Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform or interest in cross-platform mobile development.
✔️ Strong understanding of asynchronous programming using:
- Kotlin Coroutines
- RxJava (nice to have)
✔️ Experience implementing clean architecture patterns such as MVVM.
✔️ Experience writing automated tests, including:
- Unit Testing
- UI Testing
- Integration Testing
✔️ Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and common design patterns.
✔️ Experience working within Agile, cross-functional product teams.
✔️ Comfortable interacting directly with clients and translating business needs into technical solutions.
