Join a team building a modern mobile application for a leading financial services company in the Middle East. The product helps customers access financing through a fast, secure, and fully digital experience.

We're looking for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer to establish mobile test automation from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity where you'll take ownership of designing the automation approach, building the framework, and creating automated test coverage for the mobile application.

You'll work closely with an experienced QA Lead and an international QA team while collaborating with developers and Product Owners in an Agile environment.

Please note: this role is focused on mobile automation. We're looking for engineers with strong commercial experience in Appium who are excited to build a modern mobile automation framework using WebdriverIO and TypeScript.

This is you

• You have commercial experience with mobile test automation using Appium.

• You have experience testing mobile applications on iOS or Android (experience with both platforms is a plus).

• You're comfortable working with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience with WebdriverIO is a strong plus.

• You have experience testing and automating REST APIs.

• You enjoy writing clean, maintainable code and have a strong engineering mindset.

• You understand software testing methodologies, automation best practices, and QA processes.

• You communicate confidently in English and enjoy working in cross-functional Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or building automation frameworks from scratch.

• Experience testing React Native applications.

• Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

This is your role

• Design and build a mobile automation framework from scratch.

• Develop and maintain automated tests for iOS and Android applications.

• Create reliable end-to-end automated test scenarios covering key customer journeys.

• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, the QA Lead, and QA engineers to define testing strategies and improve product quality.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Identify, investigate, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.

• Continuously improve automation coverage, framework quality, and engineering practices.
