At Wiers, our Senior Mobile Diesel Technicians bring expert diagnostics and dependable repairs directly to fleet customers. You’ll troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on-site, make critical decisions in the field, and build relationships with customers who count on you to keep their operations moving. Compensation

• $38–$44 per hour
• Performance bonuses

The Lifestyle

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the go-to expert when fleets need service at their location.

• Diagnose and repair diesel systems on-site—from routine maintenance to complex issues
• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance
• Keep fleets compliant, reliable, and on the road
• Represent Wiers with professionalism and consistency

What You Bring

• 5+ years of diesel technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, not required)
• Ability to handle heavy components and work in field conditions
• Professional communication and customer-focused mindset

Preferred Experience

• ASE certifications
• Manufacturer certifications (Cummins, Detroit, Navistar, etc.)
• Mobile or field service background
• DOT inspection experience
• Advanced diagnostic training
