Senior .Net Developer builds, maintains, and deploys business applications for Corporate and Institutional Banking using Azure cloud, C#, CI/CD, Jenkins, and modern engineering practices.
Project description
This role supports the Corporate and Institutional Banking division. The developer builds, maintains, and deploys business applications that support front and middle office teams, including trading, structuring, and sales. The role is hands-on and covers the full software development life cycle with a strong focus on Azure cloud, C# development, CI/CD, Jenkins, and modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, maintain, and deploy business applications.
- Work with Business Analysts or engage directly with business users for requirement clarification.
- Perform application testing as per development standards.
- Provide first-level support for business applications.
- Assist with project implementation for new applications or enhancements.
- Follow change management policies for production releases. Technical Delivery Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver cloud solutions that are auto-scaling, resilient, and reusable.
- Use Azure native tools for monitoring, metrics, logging, and system health management.
- Support Azure platform, including Virtual Machines, IAM, DNS, NSG, networking, and load balancers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support cross-team knowledge.
- Work with incident management teams to resolve incidents efficiently.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Create and maintain Jenkins pipelines for automated build, test, deployment, and release processes.
- Implement Jenkins pipeline standards using JTE (Jenkins Templating Engine).
- Automate Jenkins bootstrap and job configuration using DSL / Job DSL. Engineering Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis and design for assigned work packages.
- Apply best practices in software development and design patterns.
- Develop multi-tier applications, including services and web components.
- Use CI/CD, DevOps tools, and version control systems such as Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
- Develop reusable and standardized Jenkins pipeline components using JTE.
- Automate Jenkins configuration, job creation, and pipeline setup using DSL.
SKILLS
Must have
- 8+ years of experience in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API.
- Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and application architecture.
- Experience developing scalable enterprise applications and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, Application Insights).
- Experience with API Management (APIM) and Microservices architecture.
- Strong CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipeline creation and implementation, including Declarative and Scripted Pipelines.
- Experience with JTE (Jenkins Templating Engine) for standardized, reusable, and maintainable pipeline templates.
- Experience with Jenkins bootstrap and configuration using DSL / Job DSL, including automated job creation and configuration.
- Experience developing reusable Jenkins Shared Libraries and pipeline components.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD automation, build, deployment, release management, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Git and source control best practices.
- Experience with Unit Testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
