Senior .NET Developer – Data & Product Analytics

Summary

Builds and maintains .NET-based data and analytics systems using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Angular, with SQL Server and MongoDB for storage.

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong commercial experience developing production systems with .NET / C#
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core or equivalent web frameworks
  • Experience with Angular or a similar modern SPA framework
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, including schema design, complex queries, and performance tuning
  • Experience with MongoDB or an equivalent NoSQL document store
  • Experience building RESTful APIs
  • Experience with NServiceBus or an equivalent messaging framework
  • Proven experience in data analysis and/or analytics engineering
  • Comfortable writing complex SQL for reporting and analysis
  • Experience modelling event and usage data for analytics
  • Practical experience with dashboards and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain features across our policy and claims management product
  • Work with .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, and NServiceBus
  • Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and shared libraries/services across teams
  • Work as a core member of our Scrum team in 3-week sprints
  • Help build and enhance the policy and claims management platform for health insurers
  • Work with the Product Manager to define meaningful product KPIs aligned to business objectives
  • Instrument the application to capture product usage data
  • Implement event tracking for key user actions and workflows
  • Implement feature flags and experiments where appropriate
  • Design and implement data pipelines and data models to support analytics
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track product KPIs and user behaviour insights
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to surface insights
