Senior .NET Developer

Senior .NET Developer designing, coding, and maintaining web applications using .NET/C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript/jQuery, and HTML/CSS within a globally-distributed team at EPAM.

Responsibilities
- Design, code, test and debug web applications to ensure high performance and reliability
- Develop new features and enhancements on top of existing product offerings
- Build new system components and integrate third-party products into the existing application framework as needed to meet business requirements
- Follow development best practices and actively participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards
- Maintain a strong focus on quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Perform development testing to ensure that implemented work matches expected requirements and quality benchmarks
- Carefully review and analyze requirements during product backlog refinement and grooming meetings
- Support and improve existing infrastructure to ensure system stability and scalability
- Participate in pager duties to provide timely support and issue resolution
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in .NET/C# development
- Superb JavaScript skills, including solid knowledge and practical experience with jQuery
- Proficiency in CSS and HTML for building and styling responsive, user-friendly web interfaces
- Significant experience working with the ASP.NET MVC pattern
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work as an active member of a large, globally-distributed development team
- Excellent English language skills (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience working with ASP.NET WebForms and/or transforming WebForms applications to MVC architecture
- Some knowledge of Bootstrap for building responsive and mobile-first web design
- Solid working knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data storage, retrieval, and management
- Experience with LINQ for querying and manipulating data within .NET applications
