Senior .NET Developer

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in .NET technologies, system design, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable applications, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, and security.

Essential Functions

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
• Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and technology selection.
• Develop and integrate frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Design and optimize databases using SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
• Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Implement microservices, messaging, and distributed system patterns where appropriate.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including OOP, design patterns, clean code, and secure coding.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices to support reliable deployments.
• Explore AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in .NET.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Proven experience building REST APIs, scalable backend services, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with React and/or Next.js.
• Strong database knowledge, particularly SQL Server; experience with Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, microservices, and design patterns.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and make sound technical decisions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
