Senior .NET Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a software development team responsible for the analysis, development, testing, documentation, and support of enterprise applications and system integrations built on the Microsoft technology stack.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, be capable of working independently, and collaborate effectively with architects, analysts, infrastructure teams, application administrators, and fellow developers to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise .NET applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and application integrations.
• Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Work with relational databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
• Participate in application analysis, technical documentation, and production support.
• Coach and mentor developers while contributing to technical leadership within the team.
• Apply Agile development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and best development practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7 years of .NET development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing .NET-based applications.
• Strong expertise in:
  • C#
  • .NET / ASP.NET
  • RESTful API development
  • SQL query development and optimization
  • Relational databases
• Experience with software development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Dutch language proficiency at CEFR C2 level.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies such as:
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect
  • JWT
• Understanding of:
  • Data modelling
  • Indexes
  • Views
  • Stored Procedures
• Knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience with modern component-based UI development.
• Understanding of API design principles, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD principles.
• Experience within the healthcare sector is an advantage.
