Senior .Net Engineer (AWS)

Builds and maintains scalable .NET backend services on AWS, using Cloud Native patterns, microservices, and AI-powered dev tools to improve code quality and workflows.

You will play a major role in our engineering team by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend systems and applications. Your expertise in .NET and Cloud Native development, coupled with a solid understanding of backend architectures, will drive the creation of scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions.
In this role, you will also leverage modern AI-powered tools and practices to improve productivity, code quality, and decision-making across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop backend systems using .NET (with focus on Cloud Native development), ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability
Collaborate within cross-functional engineering team to design and develop high-quality web applications
Drive engineering excellence by adopting and following engineering best practices in your team
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable and efficient solutions
Support junior and middle developers, guiding them through code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Leverage AI-driven tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT) to assist in coding, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing development workflows
Promote responsible and ethical AI usage, ensuring compliance with company policies and data privacy standards
Requirements:
4+ years of .NET development
Proficiency in .NET 8+
Experience using AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and testing efficiency
Experience of AWS Cloud Native development, familiarity with AWS services (i.e. Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Fargate)
Track record of implementing microservices based back-ends
Knowledge EF Core / RDS Postgres
Knowledge of messaging (preferable Kafka)
Knowledge of DDD, Event Sourcing, CQRS
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
Experience with Unit/Integration testing
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker)
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principle (experience with CDK will be a plus)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
Intermediate/B1 English Level, ability to read & write tech documentation
Strong communication skills
Nice-to-have Skills & Experience:
Experience building Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
Experience with DynamoDB
