Senior .Net Engineer

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience with C# and .NET
• Strong experience with SQL Server and relational databases, including query optimization, execution plan analysis, indexing, and performance tuning
• Solid expertise with Entity Framework Core and understanding of ORM performance optimization techniques
• Experience with Dapper and understanding of when to use Dapper versus Entity Framework Core
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred), including integration with backend APIs and troubleshooting client-side performance issues
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, async/await patterns, concurrency, and parallel processing
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and optimizing production systems
• Experience working with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and distributed applications
• Understanding of caching strategies, including Redis and read replica patterns
• Experience building and maintaining automated tests, including unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and observability tools such as DataDog, Serilog, and OpenTelemetry
• Experience working with high-load applications and scalable backend systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• English level B1+ or higher

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET applications with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues, leveraging logs, monitoring platforms, profilers, and database analysis tools
• Optimize application performance across the stack, including SQL queries, Entity Framework Core, APIs, caching layers, and asynchronous workflows
• Design, implement, and evolve microservices and distributed systems while ensuring reliability and minimal operational impact
• Participate in architectural discussions, contribute to domain decomposition initiatives, and support monolith-to-microservices migrations
• Build and maintain robust testing strategies, including unit, integration, and boundary testing
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, taking ownership of features from design through deployment and production support
• Utilize observability and monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks, improve system health, and support incident resolution
• Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices
• Work independently, proactively remove blockers, and drive technical initiatives to completion
