Senior .NET / React DeveloperMuraConnect is partnering with a Federal Government agency to identify an experienced Senior .NET / React Developer to support a major digital transformation program. This is an initial 6-month contract with a possible further 6 month extension, commencing 4 January 2027.
Working within an established delivery team, you will contribute to the development, enhancement and ongoing support of web applications built on the Microsoft technology stack.
The Role
As the Senior .NET / React Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining modern web applications, including:
- Developing and maintaining applications using C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Building responsive frontend functionality using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Developing and integrating Web APIs using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
- Deploying, maintaining and supporting applications within Microsoft Azure.
- Managing CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and Git.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with developers, solution architects and business stakeholders within an Agile delivery environment.
To be successful, you will be an experienced developer with strong technical capability across both backend .NET development and frontend React technologies, combined with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in ICT or relevant industry certifications.
- Demonstrated commercial experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC (Razor and jQuery), React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with Web APIs, Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and deploying web applications within Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams, including Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
- Australian citizenship and a current or reinstatable Baseline security clearance (or higher).
