Summary
Senior NetSuite Developer who owns development, customization, and integrations on a NetSuite platform supporting freight forwarding, ecommerce, fulfilment, and inventory operations. Day to day: SuiteScript 2.x scripting, custom records/workflows, REST/SuiteTalk integrations, and working directly with a Product Owner.
About the role
We're looking for a Senior NetSuite Developer to own the development, customization, and integration of our NetSuite platform supporting freight forwarding, ecommerce, fulfilment, and inventory operations. This is a hands-on role for a developer who combines strong technical NetSuite skills with enough business understanding to work directly with a Product Owner and interpret requirements independently. You do not need to be a Functional Consultant, but you should understand the business processes your solutions support.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 customizations.
Build User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet, and Workflow Action scripts.
Create and maintain custom records, fields, forms, workflows, and Saved Searches.
Design and support integrations with ecommerce, logistics, payment, and external business systems.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance, governance usage, and scalability.
Work directly with the Product Owner to deliver new features and improvements.
Support ongoing operational enhancements across sales, purchasing, fulfilment, and finance processes.
About you
3+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
Strong SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 expertise.
Experience across all major NetSuite script types.
Strong understanding of SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, and SuiteQL.
Experience with RESTlets, REST/SuiteTalk APIs, and third-party integrations.
Experience with SDF and deployment of NetSuite customizations.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Excellent written English communication.
