Senior Network and Security Engineer

Salary: 120-150k THB

We are looking for a skilled Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-availability network and security infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to deliver reliable, high-performance connectivity and strong security controls that support end users and business operations across the region.

What You Will Do

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise network and security solutions.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues and outages, and plan upgrades to maximise availability and efficiency
• Define, implement, and enforce security policies and access controls.
• Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users during installations, and resolve post-installation faults.
• Act as technical lead for LAN and network security with the regional European region team.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Lead network and security technology refresh projects, evaluate technical options, and optimise costs.
• Establish safeguards to protect data in transit and manage user/device access rights in line with corporate security policies.
• Set performance thresholds, perform tuning, and build monitoring dashboards covering availability, performance, traffic, and security metrics.
• Handle incident resolution, escalations, and participate in on-call rotation

What You Will Need

Technical skills

• Strong experience with LAN switching (Cisco Catalyst 9200/9300/9500, 2960X, 4500X, Nexus 9K).
• Wi-Fi technologies (Cisco Meraki, centralised WLC, Access Points 2802i/3802i).
• WAN technologies (MPLS, point-to-point, OSPF, BGP, VRF) and WAN optimisation (Riverbed SteelHead).
• VPN and mobility solutions (Palo Alto GlobalProtect).
• Security platforms: Palo Alto firewalls, F5 / Citrix NetScaler load balancers & reverse proxies, DMZ design.
• Data-centre networking (Nexus, Cisco ACI).
• DNS management (Infoblox external, Windows internal)
• Foundational knowledge of cloud networking & security (Azure, OCI, AWS)
• Basic telephony concepts (3CX, Microsoft Teams)
• Monitoring tools (SolarWinds) and ticketing systems (HDA)
• Project tools: Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Visio • Good understanding of enterprise IT architecture, Windows/Unix operating systems, and ITIL practices
• Hands-on experience preferred with Cisco (strong), Palo Alto (strong), and Meraki Preferred certifications CCIE, CCNP (Routing & Switching / Security / Wireless), AWS or Azure certifications
