About the role
Data#3 Professional Services is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a short-term engagement supporting the remediation and standardisation of a large, complex enterprise wireless environment. This is a hands-on technical role suited to an engineer with strong Aruba wireless and campus networking experience who is comfortable troubleshooting existing environments, identifying configuration inconsistencies and implementing practical remediation.
Key responsibilities
- Investigating and remediating wireless network issues across a complex multi-site environment
- Reviewing and standardising existing Aruba wireless configurations
- Troubleshooting access points, controllers, VLANs, switching, DHCP and connectivity issues
- Implementing configuration changes and remediation activities
- Testing and validating changes
- Working through technical audit findings and recommendations
- Documenting remediation activities and outcomes
- Working collaboratively with technical specialists and customer stakeholders
About you
- Strong hands-on Aruba wireless networking experience
- Experience with Aruba Mobility Conductors, Mobility Controllers, Access Points and AirWave
- Working knowledge of ClearPass and enterprise wireless authentication
- Strong switching, VLAN, DHCP and routing skills
- Demonstrated troubleshooting experience in complex enterprise environments
- Experience implementing changes within controlled production environments
- Strong documentation and communication skills
