We are looking for a Senior Network Automation Engineer to join a project based in Brussels.

The role focuses on designing and implementing network automation solutions using modern DevOps and NetOps practices. You will develop Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks, automate network device deployment and configuration, work with containerized automation tools, and support enterprise data center, cloud, campus, and security networking environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network automation solutions using modern DevOps and NetOps practices.

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks for scalable network operations.

  • Automate device deployment using Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) and PXE boot technologies.

  • Build and maintain network configuration templates and automated testing pipelines.

  • Deploy and manage containerized automation tools and services.

  • Support enterprise data center, campus, cloud, and security networking environments.

  • Implement network monitoring, telemetry, analytics, and compliance solutions.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in network automation and NetOps.

  • Experience with Ansible.

  • Experience with NetBox.

  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD.

  • Knowledge of Python.

  • Experience with Network and Security Operations Automation (NetOps/SecOps).

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code.

  • Experience with automated device provisioning and configuration management.

  • Knowledge of Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) and PXE boot technologies.

  • Experience with container networking, including Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Experience with hybrid cloud integration.

  • Experience with enterprise networking.

  • Experience with cloud networking.

  • Experience with network security.

  • Willingness to relocate to Brussels is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in telecom and data center consulting.

  • Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.

  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise and government environments.

  • Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working in highly regulated environments.

  • Relevant certifications from Cisco, Aruba, VMware, Fortinet, Check Point, AWS, Azure, or similar vendors.

Project details

  • Rate: up to 310 PLN/hour.

  • Location: Brussels, Belgium.

  • Work model: 3 days per week on-site.

  • Relocation to Brussels is required.
