Summary

The role focuses on providing technical leadership and operational management for a team of Network Engineers specializing in DWDM technology. This position ensures efficient network operations and robust incident management to support organizational goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the Network Engineering team in the DWDM product area.

  • Manage operational tasks including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Adva FSP 3000/150 Optical Transport Systems.

  • Serve as the technical lead for major incidents with 24/7 on-call availability.

  • Oversee Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes.

  • Conduct Event, Availability, Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management.

  • Design and plan network architecture, ensuring robustness and efficiency.

  • Install and configure network components effectively.

  • Optimize network performance and quality assurance of configurations.

  • Document all processes in compliance with FI-TS guidelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Adva Certified Professional (ACP) or equivalent certification.

  • Experience with Adva FSP 3000/150 Optical Transport Systems.

  • Proven experience in technical leadership and mentoring.

  • Fluency in English, with German being an advantage.

Nice to Have:

  • FOA CFOT certification is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices.

  • Familiarity with Ansible/Python and CheckMK.
